heheheheheh!

I'm watching what happens in Fiji :)
alyburns From: alyburns Date: May 22nd, 2011 12:27 am (UTC) (Link)

Well, considering how small Fiji is

the number of qualified Christians might be so small as to go unnoticed. *G* I also thought it was 6:00pm PST as opposed to 6:00pm anywhere?

Re: Apparently today there will be a great earthquake

Oh. I swear I am the last to hear the gossip at work, and now, apparently, the world.

I talked it over with my husband (who knew all about it) and we've decided to to hold out for the end of the world in 2012,
according to the Mayan calender.

Re: Apparently today there will be a great earthquake

Isn't that when the aliens invade too? Or did Mulder lie to us?
laurie_ky From: laurie_ky Date: May 21st, 2011 02:57 pm (UTC) (Link)

Re: Apparently today there will be a great earthquake

Mulder would never lie, so it must be true. I think I'm going to put on my Apocalypse CDs I made, to, you know, have the right frame of mind for the rest of the day.

Re: Apparently today there will be a great earthquake

Well, Mulder did always say, "Trust no one" so I guess we have to include him too! LOL!

Re: Apparently today there will be a great earthquake

Yeah, I'm liking the 2012 thing too - far more liberal and less exclusive *BG*

End of world?

Supposedly today at 6:00? *G*
mab_browne From: mab_browne Date: May 21st, 2011 03:59 am (UTC) (Link)
4 pm, 21/5/11 NZ time, and I'm still here. :-)
alyburns From: alyburns Date: May 22nd, 2011 12:29 am (UTC) (Link)

May not count :)

Camping said it was 6:00pm pst as opposed to 6:00 everyone's time - but then this is a man who made $7,000,000 off this whole thing so I'm betting he's already gone to the island he bought so folks will believe he was taken. *G*

Re: May not count :)

The Almighty is Americentric. Who knew? *g* Well, it's only 24 minutes to go, and we have no rumblings, storm clouds or anything else. Surprise!

People online want to go to random places like parks or whatnot and lay clothes out like someone was wearing them and watch peoples reactions. Mean but funny
alyburns From: alyburns Date: May 22nd, 2011 12:30 am (UTC) (Link)

oh man, if i could - i would

which proves i'm not going anywhere at 6:00 *G*

Re: oh man, if i could - i would

Yeah, I'm at home taking care of my sick but better cat, so no goofing off for me. Maybe next rapture....

Since the disappearing is supposed to be at local time, we'll know soon from the international dateline, no? Or will we be too busy fighting the earthquakes?
phantmchic From: phantmchic Date: May 21st, 2011 02:39 pm (UTC) (Link)
From what I've heard it's all supposed to happen at once, at 6pm pacific. Which amuses me because apparently the guy did his "calculations" and assumed it was pacific time because he lives in California. Shouldn't it have been set to 6pm in Turkey or wherever Noah's arc was?
alyburns From: alyburns Date: May 22nd, 2011 12:31 am (UTC) (Link)

I read the opposite

from Camping, that it wasn't local, but pst but then he supposedly based that on Jerusalem time, which makes NO sense at all! LOL! OTOH, he's 89.
