but I do get so tired of having to ignore them in a romantic way, you know? I mean, this show has two STRONG women as regulars and I really don't want to see them downgraded to token romance females. :(
and Harvey's smile after Mike left was absolutely PRICELESS! This show, het romances or not, is one of the best new shows on the air and I'm going to hate it when it goes off for the season and pray I don't have to wait until NEXT summer for the next season. That's what sucks about all these great shows on the smaller networks. :(
did you really expect anything else? whatever we, the viewers, see in the show (and, oh boy, do i see the slash) the writers are writing a show about 2 straight guys. besides, i totally see Harvey as Bi and Mike as... well not really anything. by which i mean he's so passive in his relationships that i think he'd go for anyone who showed an interest in him. except maybe Louis <g>
but usually it takes a show awhile to realize the people (meaning we women, the wrong demographic) watching it are seeing something more and it's that something that really scares them, so WHAM, throw the guys into bed as quickly as possible.
well, considering they had Harvey in bed with a waitress in the pilot, and Mike pining after what'sername also in the pilot, i don't know that they're reacting to the audience. especially since they probably would have had this one in the can for a while. it would be interesting to know when this ep was filmed.
these days it's pretty hard to argue that TPTB are worried about slash. they must know by now, going in, that it's going to happen. slash isn't exactly fandom's dirty little secret any more.
