Just call me 'Jailhouse Eyes Rivers'. ;)
alyburns From: alyburns Date: February 4th, 2012 02:01 am (UTC) (Link)

Now *that* name has HISTORY written all over it. You've got to write a story with a character named Jailhouse Eyes Rivers (it would work well in TS - I can just see the guy being hugged by Blair while Jim rolls his eyes at another 'weird' friend of Blair's - but I can also see it with Mark explaining the guy to the Judge, you know? *BG*)

BTW: Did you get my email? The bag was still on the door.

It *is* the best Blues name ever - except for Curly Bones Bradley. *g*
alyburns From: alyburns Date: February 4th, 2012 02:02 am (UTC) (Link)

Nope, I still say mine is best just because it's all 'B's' - Now if yours had been "Burly Bones Bradley" - I'd call it a tie. *BG*

So what instrument does Curly play in our Blues band???

Yo, Sis!

I've always wanted curly hair so I was going to suggest we swap, but Boney is too good to give up for a hefty gal like me *BG*

Jailhouse Fingers Lee, at your service. *g*
alyburns From: alyburns Date: February 4th, 2012 02:05 am (UTC) (Link)

Oooh, another 'jailhouse'

which means a cool backstory! And you and caarianna, who also got the 'jailhouse', are just the two ladies to write a story with your character's in it!!!! And Fingers? Oh, yeah, there's a story there.

Course there's always Curly Liver Lee!
alyburns From: alyburns Date: February 4th, 2012 01:58 am (UTC) (Link)

That IS good, but you have to admit, mine is all 'B's'. LOL! But I can see you as Curly Liver Lee, sitting in a hot, smokey, blues joint on Basin Street...mmm, at the piano? Tickling those ivories? Yeah.... *BG*

Pretty Bones Jones.

I actually like that. Boney Bones Brown is a good one two. We could have a duo.
alyburns From: alyburns Date: February 4th, 2012 02:09 am (UTC) (Link)

There use to be a radio show

my mom told me about - it opened with the same two men meeting up with each other, "Why howdy, Mr. Jones!" "Hidy Ho, Mr. Brown!"

Guess that's us. *BG* And you've got another great name that could belong to an 'old buddy' of Blair's - that he needs to explain to Jim. Between you, caarianna, and Mab, there could be THREE GREAT new stories! Like...for the auction???

Why no, that was NOT a H.I.N.T. *BG*

I would be Old Boy Franklin. That's not bad, 'cept for the me being a girl part. :p
alyburns From: alyburns Date: February 4th, 2012 02:10 am (UTC) (Link)

Oooh, you've got a real good one!

That's totally different - and I think Old Boy plays the sax in our Blues band, right? :)
bluewolf458 From: bluewolf458 Date: February 3rd, 2012 08:59 am (UTC) (Link)
I'd simply be Blind Hopkins.
alyburns From: alyburns Date: February 4th, 2012 02:13 am (UTC) (Link)

So no middle name?

And again, like a few others, there's a story in that name, for sure. I can see him, this great musician...maybe blinded when he fell behind in paying back a loan, but it didn't stop him from being a great blues musician....

Start writing girl, a great case for Jim to solve!!!

Boney Liver Jefferson? Awesome!
alyburns From: alyburns Date: February 4th, 2012 02:15 am (UTC) (Link)

So how do you like your liver, Boney? I like mine dredged in flour and pan fried to a crunchy brown....

Oh, wait, it could also mean that you're a musician now, but that happened once you got out of prison for -- yeah, liver with a nice chianti???? LOL!
mrs_tilford From: mrs_tilford Date: February 3rd, 2012 02:45 pm (UTC) (Link)
And I am proud to be Fat Franklin! (MrsT. doesn't have a middle name.)
alyburns From: alyburns Date: February 4th, 2012 02:15 am (UTC) (Link)

And what instrument does

FF play in our Blues band???
chriselora55 From: chriselora55 Date: February 3rd, 2012 04:37 pm (UTC) (Link)
Sticky Gumbo Thompkins! Lol! Sounds disgusting.
alyburns From: alyburns Date: February 4th, 2012 02:17 am (UTC) (Link)

Oooh, you're another one who got a very different

kind of name. I love it! And I'm thinking that your history is...you were a great pickpocket, hence the 'sticky' part, but you also love your gumbo, see? And now, you're reformed and playing in our blues band!
kaynyne From: kaynyne Date: February 3rd, 2012 05:40 pm (UTC) (Link)
Jailhouse Eyes Dupree... that sounds SO cool. Off to the deed poll office immediately!
alyburns From: alyburns Date: February 4th, 2012 02:19 am (UTC) (Link)

Okay, you definitely WIN!

AND...with a name like that, especially the 'Eyes Dupree' part, you could easily be our blues band's sultry singer...sitting on the piano, smokey, sexy voice singing in the smoke-filled club....

All you have to decide is which of the musicians in the band you're madly in love with - in spite of having a husband - as in the one who owns the club! LOL!

And how the heck are YOU?
sistermu From: sistermu Date: February 3rd, 2012 08:08 pm (UTC) (Link)
Bleugh! I am Sticky Liver Bailey. Those are two words that should not go together ;-)
alyburns From: alyburns Date: February 4th, 2012 02:22 am (UTC) (Link)

Well, you're the second 'sticky' that went with food (the other was gumbo), so I'll give you the same background: the "Sticky" comes from a history of being a great thief (you know, with 'sticky' fingers? *G*) who loves his chicken livers fried and covered in country gravy, see? And now, you're a great musician in our band - and lusting after "Jailhouse Eyes Dupree", our sultry, sexy, singer. :) How's that?
scherwood From: scherwood Date: February 4th, 2012 12:40 pm (UTC) (Link)

"Blind Harp Rivers" :D
alyburns From: alyburns Date: February 5th, 2012 02:32 am (UTC) (Link)

That's a GREAT name! You may have just tied for winner. I bet you're the instrumental star of our blues band!
my_lil_darlin From: my_lil_darlin Date: February 4th, 2012 11:29 pm (UTC) (Link)
Boney Eyes Dupree? What's a boney eye?.... no, wait, don't answer that. lololol

Remember the old idea of making up your stripper name from the name of your first pet and the name of the street you grew up on? I was Suzie Lincoln. Which always sounded a bit straight-laced for someone expected to get naked in front of strangers for pay.

How come this stuff never works for me? *g*
alyburns From: alyburns Date: February 5th, 2012 02:31 am (UTC) (Link)

Now, now, no worries....

I expect Boney Eyes Dupree has quite a colorful history! And you're in our blues band, so that makes you talented too! I'm guessing your kaynyne's relative - check out her blues name. :) You probably protect her from all the jerks in the club who try to make a move on her! :)
