Have to say that I enjoyed the ep, too, and the cargo pants bit, and the welcome at the end, made me smile. They seem to have such fun on this show. Was glad Kono's boyfriend wasn't taking her for a ride but really does seem to be a guy struggling to extricate himself from a world of crime. Not sure the Yakuza would ever actually let him go, though....

Liked Castle, too. A sort of cliffhanger but better than last years!

Since I only started watching last fall, I haven't gone through the crisis of faith some 5-0 fans have gone through. Which is kind of neither here nor there, but it's the only show I watch (have to watch it on cbs.com, not enough bandwidth to spare to watch other shows too), and I WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO SQUEE WITH YOU. That was just EPIC.

Steve! Danny! The plane! Wo Fat! Cargo pants! Danny getting all worried about Steve because he picks up that Steve is stressed due to his tone of voice! Kono and Adam so pretty and star-crossed together! Danny and that CIA lowlife and "I will kill you if anything happens to that plane!" Danny's bad-assery! Steve! Steve + Wo Fat! Hugs! "You never call, you never write!"

I felt the show was getting back on track before this one. Just getting rid of Lori helped a lot, because she was not serving a story purpose, just getting in the way of the balance the show had established and making doe eyes at Steve that he apparently never clued in on according to his reaction in their goodbye scene.

I was bummed we had to lose Steve for two episodes, but it was good that the show took the time to let Alex off when he needed it, and regroup to let the rest of the cast take up the slack.

I would love to see the rest of the cast featured more, such as the attempt to give Kono a love interest, but I didn't like the "Boom! Love interest! Boom! He's going to jail!" They did give hints she was seeing someone previously, but I felt it would have been much better to actually show her with Adam in a couple of scenes before this episode. It was just sort of "Wha? When did that happen? How did that happen?"

I think a lot of people have taken their H50 squee over to Tumblr, where they can squee with gif backup. The cargo pants line seems to be a particular favorite.

I haven't seen Rise of the Planet of the Apes yet. It's in the Netflix queue, but I want to see Hewlett, and I like the idea of the apes winning because a lot of the humans involved are assholes and deserved it.
