MOONRIDGE AUCTION IS ON! - alyburns' (aka sideburns & alyjude) Hiding Place
If you spoke faster than David Hewlett you’d travel back in time: Michael Shanks

Our 9th Annual Moonridge Online Auction (email-a-thon) began today and was, I'm sorry to say, somewhat disappointing. :( Usually the first day is HUGE, but this was barely a blip. Especially considering the number of GREAT First One, First Won items available and equally GREAT Special Items with limited number of people able to 'win' them! As for the animals, :( only 2 people have adopted so far. Yes, yes, I realize it's only day one, but wow! I also know times, they are tough! But there are still great items for as low as $5 and every penny helps!

I've also already added NEW ITEMS!!!

You can check what's taken, what's been added, and what's available at both Page One of the Donated Items and Page Two.

And of course, the all important FAQ which answers all your questions on how to take part in the auction.

The Official Website will be updated by tomorrow.

And if all else fails, give me an 'e' at alysideburns@gmail.com

I just put in my order for GMSSF#2, GMSA#13, and GMSF#9

However, since I am not going to be able to write this year, I was wondering if you still have room for a claim auction.

I would be willing to pay $20 each for up to three stories that feature an in-character Jim Ellison and Blair Sandburg meeting for the first time. I'm looking for stories where Jim is the one in trouble, and Blair gets to ride to the rescue. This could be an alternative universe (sci-fi, criminal!Blair, etc), but I'm looking for Jim to be in genuine danger. This was inspired by Sorka's description of Tree Hugger where Jim is the cop captured by environmentalists and Blair shows up to hang out with a girlfriend only to find a captive in the basement. However, I would be open to any sort of setting or conflict.

Well, Damn.

I've been thinking about your prompt all morning. I'll put in a claim. I'll check the website to see if the claim has been put up yet. I'm busy with my daughter and her new baby so I can't sit hovering over the webpage, but I'll check as often as I can. I guess it's not fair to try and sign up before it's actually official.
